While it was only the K7 and K10 smartphones that LG unveiled in the Consumer Electronic Show earlier this month, they did say that they are planning to release the rest of the K-series which includes the K8, K5, and K4 (good luck differentiating one from the other when they’re all out there). Well it looks like one of them is already out the door as the Russian website of the South Korean company has already listed the K4, and based on its specs, it is most definitely an entry-level smartphone.

The device has a 4.5-inch IPS display with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution. It is powered by MediaTek MT6735M SoC and has 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. Of course that can be expanded with the help of a microSD card. Don’t expect to take award-winning photos (unless you’re that good!) with its 5MP main camera and 2MP front facing one.

Physically, it is only 131.9 x 66.7 x 8.9mm and weighs in at 120g. Battery wise, it only has a 1,940mAh one, but since the specs are low-end, that means you won’t be able to use that many advanced features anyway. It supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, and has the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the box.

Google translates the tagline in the Russian site as “Say goodbye bad self” but we don’t know if there may be a hidden feature there that we don’t know about or it’s just what it is. But either way, if you’re in Russia and looking for a low-budget phone (although there is no price indicated yet), then this may be one of the things you can consider.
