The IFA 2016 is opening next week which means companies will be very busy with their own announcements, demos, and press conferences. We’re anticipating a few already but we’re mostly excited about the new flagship phone from LG–the LG V20. This V10 follow-up has been a hot topic since it’s a premium smartphone. We noted before that it’s the first non-Nexus Nougat phone but it’s not just that, the V20 is also known as the first ever Nougat device to be released. It will be introduced way ahead the Nexus line which is usually the first to be launched with the latest Android platform.

So far, we know the LG V20 will debut on September 6, it might have a lower resolution display, it will come with a 32-Bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC audio, and will have rear dual camera lens plus a narrower body.

Just the other day, we saw a clear, rugged case for the upcoming LG V20 but only a render and not a real photo like this one recently shared on Reddit. A certain ‘Launchy21’ published a photo of what he said is the real LG V20. Apparently, it’s a response to an image render. The Redditor who is also TechMan72 on Twitter replied to the Master Leakster with a “real pic of the V20, not some render”. In fairness, the render looks similar to the phone in the grainy photo.

These photos tell us the LG V20 will have a flat display screen. We can’t figure out the secondary display on the “real” image but it’s obvious on the leaked render. We can’t tell if this will definitely take advantage or a modular system like the LG G5 but we’re crossing out fingers.
