A new year not only brings new opportunities, new chances, or new life, but also new gadgets. We expect a lot of announcements and reveals this coming January 2016, and one of them is a new Bluetooth-enabled headset from Korean OEM LG. The new Tone+ model, the HBS-910 will be unveiled at the upcoming CES and then unleashed to the world in February and consumers can expect a slimmer, lighter, and of course, better headset.

While the LG TONE+ 2016 (HBS-910) will be more lightweight than its predecessors, it will still maintain the audio quality, due to the continued involvement of Harman/Kardon in the development process. The headset now has an Advanced Quad Layer diaphragm so that the bass and treble that you’re looking for in an audio headset would be richer and clearer. This new Tone+ headset also has two microphones that will give you both better audio capture quality as well as noise cancellation features.

Software wise, the device also comes with more phone accessory tricks, like the Tone & Talk feature where you can ask your headset to read your messages and your notifications as well. At this point, we don’t know what the other goodies are, except that they promised a better one compared to its predecessors, he HBS-900 and HBS-800.

The international launch of the LG TONE+ 2016 (HBS-910) will start by February, first in Korea, followed by the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia. You will be able to choose from 3 colors: black, white, and pink. There is no word yet on how much this would cost, so let’s wait a few more days until it gets unveiled at the CES 2016.
