If you can look past the ridiculously long name, then the LG Optimus L1 II Tri might have something interesting to offer. That is, if you’re the type of person who carries around three different SIM cards for whatever reason but also don’t want to bring along one to two smartphones.

As the name might subtly imply, this device allows the use of three SIM cards simultaneously. While it does mean that, in some way, contacts and other data might blend with each other. But switching between those three SIM cards and numbers is made quite easy by a dedicated key sitting prettily beside the home, back, and menu keys.

Other than that, the Optimus L1 II Tri is pretty much the same as the Optimus L1 II announced by LG last August. As recap, the device has a 3-inch 320×240 resolution display, a 1 GHz single core processor, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. It will also be running Android 4.1 and will also feature oddities like the “cheese shot” which lets you activate the camera via voice command, which is set to “cheese” by default.

The LG Optimus L1 II Tri is priced as $127. In contrast, the original single SIM model initially had a $94 price tag. The slight price bump might be worth it for those leading triple digital lives. Unfortunately, the smartphone seems to only be available in Brazil for now, with no news on whether it will also land in other markets.
