LG K5 LG K8 LTE

LG is serious in releasing more affordable mid-range phones this year. The K series introduced last year includes the K7 (aka LG Tribute 5). Earlier this year, we saw the  LG K10 and LG K4. We got a preview of the LG K8 LTE before the officiall announcement and now it’s here together with the K5. LG has just rolled out the K5 and K8 LTE under the K Series lineup of affordable smartphones.

Everyone will agree that the prices of the past K models are cheap but the phones have been designed with style and luxury in mind. The LG K5 will be available soon in Europe, Latin America, and the CIS region (Commonwealth of Independent States)–which includes countries like Russia, Armenia, Ukraine, and Belarus. Meanwhile, the LG K8 will be available in the same regions plus the Middle East, Africa, and Asia as key markets.

The LG K Series was formally introduced at the CES 2016 in Las Vegas last July. It boasts of a luxurious look and feel, thanks to the brilliant finish of each phone. The K phones feature-rich user experience (UX) and advanced camera for high quality images all the time.

The LG K5 features a 5MP rear camera,2MP camera front-facing camera with LG’s very own Gesture Shot, and a 5-inch screen display screen with full metallic body. Other specs include a 1.3GHz Quad-Core chipset, 1GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage, microSD card slot, and a 1900 mAh battery. Available in Titan, Silver, or Gold.

The LG K8 comes equipped with almost the same specs but this one already features LTE connectivity. Smartphone features a 5-inch HD In-cell Touch display with 2.5D Arc lass screen, 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 2125mAh removable battery. The device also features the standard Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, USB 2.0 port, and NFC. Color options include White, Indigo, and Gold. No information on pricing and availability yet but we’ll let you know soon.
