Lenovo has a few interesting phones for us here at CES 2014, and most are aimed squarely at the mid range market. Though it can be easy to dismiss a mid range device as something lesser-than, Lenovo has come through in a big way for their handsets — both in form, and pricing.

Lenovo is introducing their S650 at CES 2014, which sports a 4.7-inch screen at 960 x 540 resolution. One of the better features of the screen is the viewing angles, which allow you to view it at a full 178 degrees. Colors were fairly vibrant, and it was oddly less grainy than some other screens we’ve seen at that resolution.

It’s got an 8MP rear shooter and fairly ho-hum 0.3 camera on the front. It’s running Android 4.2, and sports a MediaTek Quad Core processor at 1.3GHz. The rear cover has a nice laser etched texture, which makes for a really nice hand feel on top of the already comfortable form factor.

We’ve seen a lot of mid range devices, but few are as nice as the Lenovo S650. It brings handsome styling, and very approachable specs. When you consider the price, at a mere $229 with dual SIM, it makes it that much nicer. We’ll be here at CES all week, bringing you all the big news, so be sure to keep checking back!
