So screen sharing is nothing new in Android, there are all sorts of apps for that. The problem is that they’re usually Android to PC, and there are a lot of variables and whatnot that go into coding apps such as those. Legendary Android developer Koush has an idea for screen sharing, when you really need assistance in what to do – Android-to-Android screen sharing via an app called Inkwire.

The idea is this, there are some people who are still not so Android-savvy. No problem, there are a lot of people who can teach them how to do stuff – but that usually requires being face to face with them and personally pointing out stuff to them on their devices. Enter Koushik Dutta – or just “Koush” for those who use his apps – with Inkwire, an app that will allow Android-to-Android screen sharing over a network.

Inkwire will allow you to teach your mom or your uncle who is recently just getting on Android by sharing their screen to your device and you showing them what to do. The app even has a built-in voice chat facility so you can talk while doing the screen sharing. Of course, the network connection needs to be a bit robust for this – maybe a WiFi connection or a solid LTE signal.

If you want to get on the alpha tester program, check out the source link below and take part in that community. Koush will announce a more stable app for public consumption soon.
