Who can say that a 7 inch tablet, running Android wouldn't be cool with 3D? That is correct, get out your polarized glasses on and let the screen come to life. Having to wear glasses is a big downfall, after hearing that Nintendo, and Sharp have been working on 3D devices that will work without glasses. The 3D tablet will be running Android 2.1 (upgrading to 2.2 and possibly 3.0) and will have full 1080p HD support with a resolution of 800x480.
Some of the other specs include, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DMB TV Tuner, FM Radio, high capacity 5000mAh battery, 256MB of DDR2 memory, G-Sensors, and 32 or 64GB storage options. The Z3D will be available in November and will cost 600,000 won, ($500). i-Station also has a couple other tablets, called the Buddy and the Dude, that are lower scale tablets worth checking out. Will the Z3D be successful for the simple fact that it is 3D? We do not think so, especially having to wear the glasses. This could possibly be the first of many to be announced in the future.
