HUAWEI P8

Huawei has finally unveiled the P8. It even came with its bigger sibling called the P8max. The Huawei P8 was semi-confirmed a couple of weeks ago as photos and pics were sighted at TENAA. You know what a TENAA notification usually means– phone is almost ready in China. Yes, the new Huawei P8 has arrived and it might be ready for US too since a Huawei P8 look-alike was just approved by the FCC.

The new flagship phone from Huawei is impressive and can very well rival the latest premium phones from the leading brands. The US version of the Huawei P8 seems to have a flash on the other side of the camera, LTE connectivity, and tri-band WCDMA support. Most likely, T-Mobile and AT&T will carry the Huawei P8. No idea if Verizon will bring the smartphone from China to the US.

To review, the Huawei P8 uses the company’s very own Kirin 930 processor. You can’t find any Mediatek, Exynos, or Qualcomm inside but using the Kirin chipset, the phone is fast. It comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD screen, 16GB or 32GB built-in storage, 3GB RAM, and dual 4G-SIM support. Battery is a 2,680 mAh unit. If you want a longer battery life, you can go for the bigger 4,360 mAh battery and 6.8-inch screen of the P8max.

We have no idea how much the P8Mac will cost but the Huawei P8 will be $535 or 499 EUR for the 16GB model. The 32GB standard will have a $643 (599 EUR) price tag. With the set price point, the Huawei P8 can be one of your many Android phone choices this year.
