Huawei has already confirmed the Ascend P6 will be unveiled during the upcoming ‘Beauty’ event. This will be taking place in London on June 18th, however it doesn’t appear as if the leaks and rumors are going to stop. We have seen a few sets of leaked specs and leaked images and as of today it looks like another round of images have surfaced.

Bottom line here, it is looking like the only thing left for the June 18th event is to make this all official and finally put an end to the rumors. With that in mind, how about we talk about this current round of images. Starting with the one sitting above, which is offering a full and fairly clear image of the front of the handset. There isn’t much revealed on this one, but the following three images do highlight one of the key features from the Ascend P6.

That feature is the thickness. Or more specifically here, the lack of thickness. The Ascend P6 is expected to measure in at 6.18mm thick. The images sitting in the gallery below are offering a look at the profile. You can get a good look at both the left and right sides and as you can see, they are pretty clean looking. Albeit, a bit similar to the iPhone.

The right side of the handset is shown to have the power button and the volume rocker as well as what appears to be a pair of SIM card slots. There isn’t much on the left side, but there does appear to be a small button towards the bottom of the handset. This could possible be a camera shutter button.

Otherwise, Huawei is expected to announce the Ascend P6 with a 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 display, quad-core 1.5GHz Hass K3V2 processor, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera. The handset should also arrive running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with version 1.6 of the Emotion user interface sitting on top.
