And that’s only 20% of HTC’s total shipments! Man, it’s like they’re a giant brand or something. Digitimes is reporting that HTC’s 4G-enabled smartphones working with either WiMAX or LTE will top 10 million units in 2011. That’s a lotta hooch. HTC is also said to have shipped 3.5 million 4G phones in 2010, 3 million of those being HTC EVO 4Gs to Sprint and 500,000 HTPA+ myTouch 4G units to T-Mobile. The groups responsible for this giant jump in shipments are again Verizon and Sprint, but also clients in Europe and Japan.

Digitimes makes a point to note the specs of the HTC EVO Shift 4G (Qualcomm MSM7630 processor, and equipped with 3.6-inch capacitive touch panel and 5-megapixel camera,) as well as mention the HTC / Verizon unveiling of the LTE speed HTC Incredible HD on January 6, 2011 – this mystical phone being shipped to Verizon in the second quarter of 2011, so they say.
