HTC Pyramid bringing 1.2GHz dualcore and qHD display to T-Mobile?

T-Mobile USA is reported to have picked up HTC's first dual-core Android smartphone, codenamed the HTC Pyramid, with the device expected to go on sale in May 2011. According to Android and Me's sources, the Pyramid will use Qualcomm's 1.2GHz Snapdragon MSM8260 processor and be paired with a 4.3-inch qHD display.

As you'd hope, given T-Mobile's 4G push, the Pyramid supports HSPA+ for high-speed browsing on its 960 x 540 display. That's the same resolution as the iPhone 4 and the Motorola ATRIX 4G, and a nice step up from regular WVGA.

The G2 is on T-Mobile and has a dualcore processor. Granted, its not a 1.2GHz snapdragon. But its still a dualcore.

Renewed my contract with Sprint and loving it. Now i feel really bad for all my Tmo people who have to wait and hope to get a decent andriod phone. I was there and I bailed….best move ever. Tmo better step up or they will lose more customer…I am sure of it.
