Today the folks from AT&T have announced two impressive new smartphones from HTC will be arriving on their network come November 16th. The new and improved 1.7 GHz quad-core HTC One X+, as well as the HTC One VX will both be available on the 16th, with pre-orders starting tomorrow. Head down past the break for additional details.

Early last month HTC and AT&T announced both devices, and we quickly were able to snag some HTC One X+ hands-on pictures for your viewing pleasure. You should know plenty about these already, but if not here’s the details. The One X+ is the same as the original AT&T One X, only this time around it gets the NVIDIA quad-core Tegra 3 like the international model — only it’s been improved. the One X+ is running a 1.7 GHz quad-core, and now supports full 4G LTE. You’ll still get 1GB of RAM, but they’ve added an option for up to 64GB of storage as well. This being a huge plus considering the X doesn’t have expandable storage.

You’ll still enjoy the same 4.7-inch 1280x720p HD SLCD2 display, 8 megapixel camera, front shooter, and that awesome design with Beats Audio included. One major improvement is HTC’s updated this to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and HTC Sense UI 4+. The new and improved quad-core HTC One X+ will run you $199.99 with a new 2-year contract. Then HTC’s introduced another budget handset like their One V earlier this year, only this also runs on AT&T’s 4G LTE network and has some rather nice improvements as well. The new HTC One VX will only cost you $49.99 for a nearly top end phone. Everything about it screams perfection aside from the qHD display. You’ll get a large 4.5-inch screen, but sadly only 540 x 960 resolution. Everything else is great. That includes a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, and a few cameras. So what gives? It drops down to a 5 megapixel rear camera and only VGA front, as well as being shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, instead of Jelly Bean.

Overall both these devices are pretty impressive. The One X didn’t really need to improve too much, but now that it has this makes it even better. The VX on the other hand is probably the best budget device on AT&T, being just $49, and easily beats out T-Mobile’s $79 LG Optimus L9 with similar specs.

Pre-order either of these new phones starting tomorrow, and expect them to ship and be available in-stores starting November 16th. Stay tuned right here because tomorrow we’ll have all the details on Verizon’s new HTC DROID DNA 5-inch 1080p smartphone too.
