Canadian HTC fans are about to get a double dose of smartphone. Rogers is reportedly getting the HTC One mini and mid-range HTC Desire 601 on November 4th. While no pricing has been revealed yet, the handsets will both be heading to Canada.

The HTC One mini is a scaled down version of the flagship One, and the hardware scales almost as much as the screen size. It has a 4.3-inch 1280 x 720 screen, and 1.4GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB RAM. It will carry 16GB storage, and 4MP Ultrapixel shooter. Compare that to the 2GB RAM, Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, full 1920 x 1080 4.7-inch screen, and OIS on the camera you find on the One, and the mini really lives up to its name.

The Desire makes no allusions to being a device for the technophiles out there. It has a 4.5-inch 540 x 960 screen with the same processor as the One mini. It sports a 5MP camera capable of shooting video in HD, 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. Luckily, it comes with a Micro SD Card slot.

For Rogers customers, the lineup just got a lot more diverse. For the average consumer, these are very good options. The One mini keeps the same attractive build as both big brothers, and the Desire is a rock solid HTC smartphone. While neither will make a lot of waves, they’re both very capable devices.
