The HTC One has been in the news a lot over the past few days. With rumors of stock Android models, bigger 5-inch screens, and patent lawsuits from Nokia. Today we have more good news though, as the HTC One is the first device to become HTCPro certified for business use in the U.S. and will be taking on Blackberry and Samsung SAFE.

There’s just so much to like about HTC’s flagship One smartphone. Not only does it rock an amazing 4.7-inch 1080p display and stunning front facing speakers with optimal sound, but now you can safely use it with your business and feel completely safe.

HTC yesterday announced that their HTC One is the first device to officially become HTCPro certified and is as secure as they’d like. Simply stating that “The Award Winning HTC One Is Enterprise Ready” in their announcement, and calling it another achievement of many for their new flagship smartphone. We’d have to agree.

This means it meets all security and encryption guidelines as well as meets the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2, and offers 256-bit encryption as well as a slew of other security features that until today they haven’t mentioned. So not only is it gorgeous, built like a tank, sounds amazing, but it also is one secure smartphone. Yesterday we also learned it has sold roughly 5 million units, so things are looking up for HTC.
