HTC and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has teamed up to bring up-to-date information and stats to Android users everywhere via the HTC FootballFeed app. Now you can keep up with your favorite European league teams and matches even when on the go or even when at work.

As the name implies, the HTC FootballFeed app loads all interesting football, or soccer for those in the US, factoids and news right in your Android phone or tablet. In particular, it covers the ongoing matches in the European league. Users will get to follow their favorite UEFA Champions League teams, including Bayern Munchen, Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Arsenal, among others. Football fans will also get treated to news coming from the UEFA Europa League, covering clubs such as Valencia, Olympique Lyonnais, Tottenham Hotspur, Dynamo Kyvi, and more.

The app itself contains the usual features that you'd expect from sports apps, bringing you match line-ups, minute-by-minute coverage, and post-game analysis. Users can also view their favorite clubs' stats and choose between displaying data from the UEFA Champions League or the UEFA Europa League. The app also features a countdown clock for future matches, as well as push notifications to make sure you're always up-to-date with the latest and upcoming events.

The HTC FootballFeed is available now for free on Google Play Store. The app seems to also be compatible with any Android device, even those from other manufacturers, as long as they are running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean or higher.
