HTC Desire – phone hits T-Mobile UK March 26

16 February 2010 by David Junior

The phone we originally known as the Bravo has been officially named the Desire by HTC is the hottest phone around the internet and now their are a few rumblings around that the first carrier to offer this phone is T-Mobile UK.

Word on the streets(lol) is this beast first home will be T-Mobile UK on March 26th. Then it will make its way to Orange sometime in April before starting its world tour landing on multiple carriers all over the world. I for one hope these rumors pan out and would love to see this phone here in the US or anywhere in world that will offer it with T-Mobile AWS, I am a big fan of Sense UI and will not hesitate to pull the trigger on this awesome device.

  1. Great for UK friends
  2. read on engadget that it was hitting asia first, specifically with Telstra Picking it up in australia, personally, this means ill get an unlocked one from hong kong. Hope it comes sooner than very late march though, thats a long time in the tech world, stuff can happen which would mean better phones...
  3. T-Mob UK have been tweeting about this today. We lucky UK users will be getting our hands on this in March for certain. Just a shame that I'm not due for an upgrade till October!!
  4. 900/2100 is tmobile 3g right? anyone know
  5. I hear Softbank will be picking this up in Japan. Man, Docomo need to get on this.
  6. this phone is gonna be everywhere, this is great lol
  7. I'm more interested in when Sense will get ported to the Nexus.
  8. If I do get one of these, I'll be turning sense off instantly! My other half has a Hero and I can't stand the sense setup. Bettercut doesn't work, the inbuilt twitter client is average (and no support for multi accounts) although the music app and widget is tasty! lol

Plus I have no doubt that Cyan will have a mod out within a week of launch anyway! Or someone will just port the Nexus set-up across
  9. I think it is an interesting device, but I still like my Nexus Great to see more and more awesome HTC Android devices tho!
