HTC needs to sell this year’s flagship HTC 10 and its mid-range variant HTC 10 Lifestyle to prove that it can still survive in the mobile game and that it has the power to keep consumers wanting them. To help the Taiwanese tech giant, here’s the HTC Desire 10. Hopefully, it’s a more “desirable” and affordable version of the premium HTC 10.

For this model, HTC used plastic instead of metal but basically it’s the same phone. The photo you see here is only a leaked image so we have yet to receive confirmation on what kind of camera sensor, processor, display, or battery the Taiwanese company has used on the HTC Desire 10.

The familiar lines of the HTC 10 and HTC 10 Lifestyle are present. We know the specs will be souped down a little but we heard it they might be better than the HTC 10 Lifestyle. If that’s the case, then maybe something like the HTC Desire 530 except for the high quality camera, audio tech, and micro splash finish.

Or if it’s closer to the 10 Lifestyle, then maybe some 3GB RAM, Snapdragon 652 processor or maybe just a Mediatek, and a 32GB onboard storage. We’re not expecting a 1080p display here but just a 720p might be enough plus some 13 megapixel camera, 5MP selfie cam, and a 2200mAh battery.

Since most HTC Desire phones sit below $200, we’re guessing this Desire 10 will be somewhere around the $170 price point. Let’s just wait and see.
