The Android platform has a new app today that has been available on other platforms already called GyPSii. The app allows Android users to access and create geo-tagged content in real-time with friends and the community.

The app allows Android users to locate their friends and other GyPSii users as well as connecting with their surroundings in new ways. For instance using the app a user can upload details about a local restaurant or POI that other users can view.

The app is now available to download on the Google mobile apps store. “Android-based phones are already some of the hottest mobile devices on the market and, with our support for the platform, GyPSii is well-positioned to take advantage of consumers’ appetite for these devices – now and into the future,” said Dan Harple, GypSii’s CEO and Executive Chairman.
