We all know that Daydream is the anticipated VR platform that Google wants to put in place to leverage on the growing VR market. We’re all anxious to see it in action, preferably with a Samsung Gear VR or something similar, but for now, we will have to make do with videos and news. Google has recently shown off Daydream Labs, where all kinds of VR magic happen, in a couple of new videos.

The first video shows off a tool called “Animator”. According to Google, Animator is an app experiment that allows people to physically reach out, grab a virtual toy, and move it through the VR environment they are currently looking at. See the video below.

The second one is about another app experiment called “Puppeteer”. As the name suggests, the app allows developers to independently animate the joints of a character. The tool is pretty complicated, but it allows developers to customize VR objects in detail. See the video below.

Of course, we are waiting for more information and details about the Daydream platform, and if these things from the Daydream Labs are any indication, we’re in for a ride. We’ll let you know as soon as there is any new information about the platform.
