One of the things that keeps a semblance of control within the Google Play Store is how Google enforces its policies on developers and apps. If you think the Play Store is chaotic now, imagine it without Google’s enforced policies. In that idea, it makes sense for Google to communicate its policies better. This is the idea behind the redesigned Google Play Developer Policy Center.

The redesign of the policy center encompasses a few things – first up, the policies are now organized thematically, so that developers can easily browse policies in the general topic or issue they are concerned with. Secondly, there are now more visual examples for the policies that are enforced, just so developers get an idea of the policy as clearly and quickly as possible.

Lastly, the new policy center has been updated to Material Design spec. Whoever said that Google was not a stickler for its own design cues? Amid all of these changes, Google is also expanding the information available in the policy center so that issues can be resolved quickly.

Google is trying to streamline the experience of developers when they interact with the Play Store, so hopefully this redesign helps in making things easier. Visit the policy center by clicking on the link below.
