Google has taken the stage to demo the Honeycomb operating system. We got a full live view of how notifications will work within the tablet OS and Google is focusing on making the notifications less intrusive all while making them provide more information at a glance.

The notifications system has been completely redesigned. In Honeycomb notifications include more information due to the extra real estate. Google has also built some templates to allow developers to create more immersive notifications.

The notifications are all in the lower right, and clicking on the area will bring up the entire notifications window that will allow you to get rid of old notifications as well as basic features such as airplane mode, etc.
