Aside from adding the shortcut to weather option, Google has also updated the Google Slides and Sheets apps for Android. The updated versions are already live on the Google Play Store so feel free to install the latest release on your device. If you may remember, the last update for the Google Apps made searching in Docs, Sheets, and Slides easier. This time, more file formats are now supported.

With the update, the Slides Android app allows you to send a copy or download a particular slide as a PNG, JPEG, or SVG file. From the Share & export menu, you can see the new formats JPEG (.jpeg), PNG (.jpg), and SVG (.svg) aside from the standard PowerPoint (.pptx), PDF (.pdf), and TXT (.txt).

Google Sheets and Slides Android apps 2

As for the Sheets Android app, a spreadsheet can now be saved or shared as CSV, TSV, or as an HTML web page file. If you choose the latter, files will be saved in one ZIP folder. You can choose the desired file format from the Share & export menu. You can also now view Google Drawings spreadsheets right on the app.

Google is gradually releasing updates for the Google Apps in most regions but rest assured, they will reach all Android mobile users who have them installed on their devices.
