Living a truly mobile lifestyle is possible these days. What with all the gadgets and services available, one can be in the office, at home, or just about anywhere and still be able to work efficiently. All you need is a laptop, tablet, or even a smartphone plus a decent Internet connection and you can finish all the tasks the boss needs from you.

Google is the best mobile partner one can have. The search engine company has evolved into a tech giant that offers numerous products and services that make our lives easier. We’re not listing them all down here but for employers and workers, Google Docs, Sheets and Slides are very useful. The company recently made updates to the apps so you can be more productive than ever whether you’re working on a tablet, computer, or phone.

The commenting feature has been updated across the recently mentioned Google apps on Android and iOS. This way, people can easily collaborate on a file at the same time. Feel free to add another person to join the conversation and start working on an idea.

Be completely productive on-the-go with the new Research feature in Google Docs for Android. Or if you want to do more in one screen, just set the Docs app on mobile fullscreen. Several new formats are now supported so you won’t have any problem importing and exporting files. You can now import .txt, .rtf, and .html files in Docs and export .docx, .rtf, .pdf, .txt., and .html (from Docs), .xlsx, .pdf, .html, .csv, and .tsv (from Sheets), and .pptx, .pdf, and .txt (from Slides) as listed by Google.

Google Sheets

Google Sheets received a number of updates as well. You can now open TSV and CSV files on the app, filter data, and read from right to left in Google Sheets.
