Pure Android experience is now made more affordable. Thanks to a recent discount given by Google, the Nexus 5X is now listed at $349. That may be a small price drop from the original $379 price but it still is cheaper. Google posted the new promo over at Twitter. At the same time, Google Store in Australia also started offering a $100 discount not just on the Nexus 5X but also on the Nexus 6P.

The LG-manufactured Nexus 5X and the Huawei-made Nexus 6P are now a hundred bucks cheaper. That’s Australian dollars so don’t be surprised if you see the figures. (See prices below) From the original $659 price of the 16GB Nexus 5X, it’s now $479. The 32GB is down from $739 to $559. Actually, the discount is even more than $100. Meanwhile, the Nexus 6P 32GB/64GB/128GB are now available for $799, $899, and $999, respectively. Again, the prices are in AUD.

The Australian Google Store mentioned that it’s a ‘Back to School’ promo so to those Down Under, you may want to take advantage of the new prices. If you’ve been wanting to get a new Nexus, now is the best time. We’re not sure if this is just a temporary promo or if the prices are going back to normal. We’re hoping the latter.

Meanwhile, in the US Google Store, you can get a $50 Huawei Watch credit when you buy a new Nexus 6P. We’re expecting more discounts will be announced in the coming days or weeks.

  1. The part that says, “We’re not sure if this is just a temporary promo or if the prices are going back to normal. We’re hoping the latter” doesn’t really make sense when read.
