According to Unwired View, the news about Gingerbread is not fully right. According to Dan Morrill, a Google Android Open Source & Compatibility Tech Lead, it seems that people are starting to just make stuff up on the subject of Android 3.0. But, that doesn’t mean everything is wrong, either. There is still the possibility that some, maybe even most, of the information on Android 3.0 is true.
The truth is, there is no way anybody will know what exactly Google is planning until someone from Google takes the time to make an announcement. We wish most of the information about Android 3.0 were real, but for now, we’ve got to keep our salt in our hands, ready to throw.
