So it’s what the people at the Web 2.0 Summit 2010 call “fifteen years and two recessions into the commercial Internet.” And you know what that means, of all things? Gingerbread’s coming out. Or at least, that’s the word around these internets. The Web 2.0 Summit is an event that happens once a year, leaders of the Internet Economy get together and have a big party where they talk about all kinds of great stuff they’re doing and pat eachother on the back and make big announcements.

Sounds like a great place for a tasty treat to us. Just two days ago (on Friday) Google Mobile made a tweet promising that their “cafes are baking something sweet.” This is how things line up, really really it is.
