When you see that a brand has slashed $100 off an expensive product, you are of course delighted and would actually consider getting one if the product is that good. On the other hand, you might also get suspicious as to why they’re giving such a big discount. Either the product is not selling as well as they expected or there must be something wrong with it (or both). But either way, the HTC 10, the Taiwanese OEM’s new flagship is selling at $100 off on their official website.

Expectations were actually pretty high for the flagship, with its 5.2-inch Quad HD display and it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Quad Core processor. The 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory is pretty standard now for this year’s flagships so it’s not something extraordinary. What they’re harping on for this device is that it is the world’s first smartphone that has a front and back OIS camera so that any angle you take a photo, it should look pretty good (unless you’re a really bad mobile photographer).

The original price for direct purchase of the HTC 10 is $699. But now if you buy it from their website, you’ll get $100 off. If you buy it from somewhere else, you’ll be able to get $100 credit which you can use to buy accessories from htc.com as well. However, you won’t be able to use the credits to get the HTC Vive, their VR headset. So better settle for their Ice View case or an in-car adapter or any other accessory except the VR headset.

This offer starts from July 12 and will last until July 31 or until supplies last. But they probably have a lot of supplies for now so you shouldn’t worry.

  1. This is an awesome deal, but how are the reviews for this device? Has anyone used it and how is it compared to its peers?

    • Yeah, this smartphone isn’t the best one in its category, maybe thats why this huge discount. Or even possible that HTC is launching a newer version of this model. Either ways, i wouldn’t buy one now.
