As you might already know, we’ve had some earlier possible specs leaked here and there on this long awaited followup to last years heavily successful Galaxy S line. This new phone has just today had a brand new set of specs leaked to the folks at SamFirmware – these are above and beyond the possible 4.3 inch or 4.5 inch screen and Orion Dual-core processor on board featuring 1.0 GHz or 1.2 GHz of power. What’s not known for certain is the rest. Let’s take a look.

What’s been told today is the following: Screensize : 4.3” or 4.5′, Super Amoled Plus screen, 8 Megapixel camera on the back with LED flash, 1.3 Megapixel camera on the front, Sd support of up to 32 GB, an Orion Dual Core 1.0 or 1.2 GHZ processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Bluetooth 3.0, coded as Samsung I9100, and it includes the future of mobile computing : NFC chip inside.

And that’s about it! We’re still unsure of what the device will look like, what colors it might be (black,) or essentially anything else. Are you excited? We are so very excited. And ALSO it appears more than likely that this phone will be released at Mobile World Congress 2011, which we will definitely be at, bringing this info to you live.

  1. Is it possible that the galaxy s2 will get a version with a qwerty keyboard? And if so, is there a possible that it will come to Europe (we don’t have AT&T, sprint or verizon).

  2. All I want to know is whether the GPS is pants like The SGS1. If it isn’t then I will certainly be giving Samsung a second chance.
