Just wondering if it is possible to root and load a ROM without a computer (I currently am running the stock 1.6 on a G1). My computer recently died and I do not have access to one at the moment and I'm tired of waiting for updates and such. I have done my fair share of reading up on the subject and have yet to be able to find anything that says if I am able to do this (other than your instant root for 1.5). I currently have ASTRO installed for unzipping and file renaming, if that helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
