There is no sort of SMS reminder just yet. It is a feature that could be added by a third party or Google with a software update rather easily.
Brady,Since I feel that you are the most knowledgable of all the people in this forum, I am asking you for some help PLEASE! On the Motorola Razors, there is an audio reminder (more like a beep every 5 minutes) if you miss a call or text. Is there ANYTHING like that for the G1? Thank you in advance, semifamous1!
