Carrier: Verizon

Last Saturday, I received a certified replacement Droid. I could not set up my account, kept receiving a message that my email address and p/w did not match. I could use the same phone, go on the Internet to gmail and access my email account. Spoke with Verizon and Motorola techs, they were unable to help. They suggested my account was locked out of mobile. On my pc I went through the unlock routine successfully, but it did not help. I tried creating a new email account using the phone and had no problem.

On Monday, I received a certified Droid X as a replacement. On X I can set up neither account. Iincompatible address and p/w. I attempted to go online to email, it was as if the browser locked up when I tried to enter account information. Went online with pc, unlocked accounts twice but still no success.

Anyone have suggestions?
