thanks...it worked, got my custom boot screen done.
Saw your post asking about an easy custom boot screen thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=467693 One thing that threw me off in a loop was that before plugging in, install the G1 Driver(link inside the thread) Then when you enter fastboot (camera + power), you install the same driver again. Hopefully that helps! Good luck, tell me how it goes if you haven't done it already.
