Hi, I'm planning a trip to the UK and want to take my G1, unlocked with me. I plan to get a pay-as-you-go sim when I get there and use my own phone while there... I needed to find out a couple of things about this and you seem to be able to answer my questions... I saw a post you had that mentioned that you are using an American G1 in the UK.

1) Can I just plug in a sim from there and use it? Or did you have to change any settings?
2) How do you charge the phone? I was hoping I could just buy a "replacement" charger over there and have it work, but I was warned that I might fry it...

If you could help me with these questions, I would be eternally grateful!!
