Well...you can install apps from your memory card and save internal memory on your device, also it enables an auto rotate for your phone, so it goes to landscape without having to slide your screen up...it also gives you the multi touch on the browser similar to the iphone. But the main thing for me was you can install themes..totally change the look of your G1's icons and status bar. Having root access to your phone opens up soooo many possibilites. (But voids your warranty unless you have insurance on your phone)

I love my G1. What are the benefits of the modded RC33? Here is a noob question, how do I delete an app? I tried: settings, applications, manage apps., but I do not see an unistall option.
