Quick Tip: Miss the easy soft-reboot you used to do with the sidekicks? (1-@-0), You can do the same thing with call button+menu button+end button (green+menu+red)

Quick Tip: If you want your AIM to stay connected longer, do not put the G1 in sleep mode. Sleep mode causes some sort of connection drops, and you don't get the messages until you take it out of sleep mode anyway so just leave it off and you'll see better AIM connectivity (I suppose this works with other messengers as well)

Quick Tip: Some updated apps are not automatically listed on top when you sort by date on the market app. To make sure you have the latest version of apps, periodically check "my downloads" section and if the app you have installed says 'free' instead of 'installed' next to it, it means there is an upgrade available. (Some uninstalled apps are also listed in this section, so only update the ones you know you have and use.) Update: RC33 will show 'update available' and even notify you of updated apps now!

Quick Tip: Do not use notification bar to switch between apps. Everytime you access a program using that, it opens a new window on top of an already running program and this eats up memory fast. Use the back arrow to leave an app, go to home screen, access another app. Or hold the HOME key until a task switcher pops up and switch from there. This will make your device run smoother.

Quick Tip: Having a hard time selecting a link on a web page? You have a nice little trackball, use it! Click the nearest link with your thumb, when its highlighted move as if you were scrolling the page and then use the trackball to select the proper link.

Quick Tip: Download "Wallpaper Set & Save" from the market and set wallpapers through this app to get crisp and clear images without blurry results. Be sure to keep all of your wallpapers in /wallpapers/ directory on your sd card and for best results use 640x480 PNG files. *(JPG works as well, but may seem blurry due to JPG compression)
