I miss the ease of email on my sidekick as oppose to the g1. Also the AIM on the sidekick is a hell of a lot better. www.myspace.com/bignelljohnson
UGH NO well I dont disagree with the IM Clients but damn you had to pay for EVERYTHING with the SIDEKICK even a damn alarm clock I do NOT miss that at all I mena I miss my little light up trackball with the different colors and the way the sides lit up when I got a call and how easy it was to change the theme... but even with all that my G1 still kicks my sidekick's ass
I believe the gmail client that is tied to the G1 is probably the fastest you can get on any phone. It pushes my messages sometimes even faster than on desktop version. Tmail always had issues with lag, I have yet to experience that with Gmail. Granted I'm talking about the default 'gmail' app, the 'email' app is a little goofy when it comes to third party accounts and emails. I downloaded K-9 and use that as my default email client for my many other accounts.
I also like the fact that your G1 email account is your gmail account. It's not tied to the device itself.
