    Default Windows 7

so anyone who is interested, who hasn't gotten a chance to check out windows 7 definitely should. I really like it. It's snappy, it's got a really neat task bar at the bottom, and its got widgets just like the G1! except that they're is a huge selection.

So if you have empty space to partition i really recommend it.

right from microsoft themselves. they are letting everyone download a preview and give you activation keys. just have to log in with a live id. any hotmail account is fine.

i have it personally and think its simple and to the point, works well and seems pretty fast. did encounter a few bugs but overall the system fixes itself.

I agree - it has been great so far.

Installation on a clean system was was really fast - 30-40 minutes.

One Disney game for my son did not install (DLL and "file already open" error), that compatibility mode didnt resolve.

Interesting that MS One Care is not supported, but other than that it has been a very good experience.

Noticed that after a couple failed attempts to install device drivers on the second or third attempt the system launches an alternate process to complete the installation that was successful. It identified that the first attempt failed or was incomplete and offered to rerun it. Pretty intuitive and actually helpful.
