Ever since the T-Mobile G1 launch, Apple and Google have gotten into bed together to bring more Google features to the iPhone. The tech titans are also collaborating on pushing for equality of same-sex marriages.

I don't think it's wrong that Google is making apps for the iPhone. One reason that they could roll out stuff on the iphone before android is that iPhones been out longer and is more stable. But that doesn't mean they'll neglect the android.

I think one day android will be bigger than the iphone, but not yet. It would be foolish for Google to completely ignore iphone people (money).

Google offers a lot for free. They need to get paid some how.

a product being out for a longer period of time is one of the worst arguments you can use



how can you release a highly anticipated OS and a week later release google earth on another platform that is competing with YOUR OS


it's not like they created google earth for the iphone in one week, they must have spent MONTHS on it . why couldn't they apply it to the android platform?

stuff like this is nothing new, it's just business. google is in the information business and the more information they control, the better it is for them. it's not like apple is gonna suddenly switch iphones to run android or something. the best google can do is to have their apps running on them.

The real problem is that google earth is free on the iphone. So they could have pulled all the people working on the google earth iphone project and put them on android to make it a complete and stable OS with the virtual keyboard, A2DP, mms picture saving, etc by launch.

it's not like they worked on google earth within a week . it must have taken months of hard work . why couldn't they apply it to their own OS?

Thats not it at all. The g1 i believe has fairly equal stats to the iphone.(im just BSing that, i have no clue, but i would assume they wouldnt release somethign worse to compete)

lol actually the specs of the phone are not as good as the iphone . it's slower
