Who has to work Christmas?

Anyways my supervisor asked me if I wanted to work xmas and new years, I said yeah.. since they both fall on Thursdays and I would have to work Friday so might as well work the whole week...

But he told me he wouldn't need me =(.

Oh well at least I'll get the days off and get paid 8 hours for them... but I wanted to work so I would get paid for 20 hours each day!

Dude, are you a public servant of some sort? Firefighter, Police Officer, Paramedic, Emergency Room worker? That's pretty severe . . . must work in a Right-to-Work state like me

Nope, if I was I would understand it more, I do get holliday pay but I'd rather be at home. Yeah Texas is a right to work state.
