That's a great question. I think that the protection will probably be right about the same between those two. But if you're looking for some real protection, I would get one of the Otterbox Defender cases. Those would last through more than a couple drops.

I like a Leather Case for my tablet. It is great because it has an elastic strap that holds the sleeve tightly closed, but still allows me to access my gadget quickly.
