I have my G1 and I envy this woman at work with a blackberry (I think) because she can see CNN live streaming all day.
Of course, I love my G1, but this feature is a must.
Has there been any rumor of Tmo offering this type of service similar to VCast, or the service AT&T? Now that we have 3G, and LTE is planed for the future, how doable is this?
I could see something like sports, and latenight TV being real populare if this came about. Especially for those of us who live in Metro areas and spend alot of time commuting from HOME to Work.

What the BB Curve was doing wasn't true "streaming" per se. You could click on CNN video links and they'd download then play in a new window . . . a very, very small window.
That said, I'd like streaming too. Support for embedded Flash would be a great start.
Well, she was watching live streaming with delays of course. But it was not a video "per se"
It's a live streaming.
That's all she watch at work.
I may be wrong on the phone, but it looks a big blackberry.
Tomorrow when I go to work, I'll check it out and find out what phone it is.
Maybe the "woman" is using Orb or a Slingbox... care to find out? Just out of curiousity.
For streaming, a browser will need flash or DivX installed I think
Ok, So i'm not the only one would like this. I wonder how something like this even gets started, and why hasn't this been started aready? I mean your top competitors are in mid stream with this already. Just seems like it should be up and running already.
All right. I am at work now, and I asked her to show me her phone.
She has SPRINT PALM. Sprint has a program called Sprint TV and she told me you can watch a lot of channels there.
Not only CNN, but Fox News, Disney, movies, etc, etc.
When will we get that?
