New Apple iPod touch

While the newest iPod Touch does not get a completel makeover it does have a lot of nice much needed updates. Some of the new features include new casing made of stainless steel. The display is the same as usual but this device is thinner. Closely resembling the general shape of the iPhone 3G. Also added were Iphone like volume controlls. It seems Apple is closing the gape between the iPod Touch and the iPhone 3G.



Added to the improved UI is Nike+. This has been integrated including a built in reciever. This slick device boasts an incredible 36hrs music and 6hr vido putting it ahead of all the other iPods as well as both model iPhones.

The 8GB model will sell for $229, the 16GB for $299 and the $32GB for $399. All models are available starting today. Jobs calls this one the “funnest iPod ever,” and who knows–he might be right.

It really is the alternative to having a phone. And its even possible to make WiFi calls with it too.

OMG. I've been ANTI Apple since the first ipod came out, but I've official taken the apple leap, with the 2Gen Ipod Touch. I must say that I AM IN LOOOOOOOVE. The touch screen is super responsive and this thing's accelerometer, processor, and UI is awesome. I'm a gadget freak, but hands down this thing is the best MP3 player on the market, seriously.

Does anyone else here have one??

I have a creative zen touch 20gb.

Then I got a iPod nano 4gb (square one, dunno what gen).

I must say iPod Nano > Creative Zen touch.

my zen touch went gay on me and wouldnt link to usb so my 15gb left on it was wasted as I couldnt upload songs to it.

Damn that sucks! I was never impressed or a fan of Creative Zen heard and saw tooooo many horror stories similar to yours. STAY AWAY FROM ZEN, its not creative at all. LOL
