I have so many questions....where to begin?

First, anyone considering switching from tmo coming this Oct? I've been seriously considering leaving them and going back to ATnT to save $$ on a family plan...

What happens in October to make you want to change? My rates on T-Mo are cheaper than ATT, Sprint and Verizon. You still using the G1? Nice to see you back.

My contract expires. If I go back to att, I can save approx $30 a month vs. what I'm paying now (I'm a single user on tmo).

I sure am still using the G1!! I like saving $ until contracts expire.

Uh... I'm just spitballing here, but I'm gonna suggest updating from 3.9.5 and Recovery 1.4 to CM 5.0.7, Danger SPL, and Amon Ra's Recovery 1.5.2. Then, get Google Voice and ditch paying for texts. Get an unlimited minutes plan for $50 from TMo, and the $25 data plan for the G1 (I'm sure there is a way to get around that too, but I haven't ventured that far yet). And welcome back!

I have also AT&T,My signal for data and Phone in my area is much better than T-Mo and for My Plan I pay less than if I compare same in T-Mo and welcome Back to AC

Ok, you're still using a G1, eh? MGS pretty much has you covered as far as what you should do with your G1, except Amon has a newer recovery out to deal with the new apps location in Cyan's 5.0.7, which is pretty much full Eclair for the G1. And I have a Google Voice invite if you need one. As far as October goes, AT&T has been gimping Android to keep the iPhone in its "king of the hill" position. The Nexus should be coming to T-Mobile stores soon, but both Sprint and Verizon has better phones out, the Evo with Sprint, or the Incredible with Verizon, with the Droid 2 coming soon.

That's the other thing. My phone is completely useless every other weekend when I visit my secret getaway lol I have to take one of my parent's phones (ATnT) and the signal strength is fantastic.

I am also considering jumping on a family plan with my sis and her fam thru Verizon...but I've heard Verizon is notorious for a number of reasons :P


Speaking of updates....... um I'm still rocking some "old" cyanogen mod here, anyone wanna point me in some kind of direction to change up my stuff here? lol

I dont think ive ever considered leaving tmobile. On a nexus one with a tmo even more plus plan, one line... 700 minutes, unlimited messaging, unlimited data, no contract... $67 after taxes. Unlmited minutes plus unlimited everything else with no contract is $79.
