i need a shortcut for my netbook

I'm trying to figure out a way to make a shortcut or maybe even a hotkey on my eeepc (win xp) that will turn this feature on and off with a push of a button, any ideas?

That seems to vague for me to really give advice to, but I've seen an application before about remotely turning on/off a computer, but I think it was for macs or some brand that wasn't Windows...

sorry about being vague, i don't mean remotely. i mean like an icon on my desktop or using one of my "hotkeys" to perform this action.

the hotkeys are buttons that you can program their function to, i just don't know how to make it an action like that.

Well I'm sorry about not being very helpful lol, I'm sure if you find the app I'm thinking off and it works for you you can hot key to launch the app, but hot keys aren't really made to set features within the app sadly.

yeah somebody actually brought it up at the eeepc forum i go to, and i just thought i'd see if anybody here has any ideas... cause it could be pretty useful.

go to Microsoft search for ms scripter, its a free ad on for windows, then once installed you will make a script of that procedure that you posted and save it. ms scripts makes a icon for you, then once you have the icon you can give it a hot key to start.
