So today is androids 1 year birthday , which means(to me) that my 1 year warranty on my g1 has expired . What does this mean to all of you ? Any thoughts on how android has progressed this past year since it was officially released ? http://wiseandroid.com/NewsItem.aspx...ober&itemid=22

I think they should make oct 22 a federal holiday. Lol

I think android has progressed nicely. There is still some work to be done but it will get there. Happy bday android

i remember the wait from first day of preorder until the g1 finally arrived . that was almost a month of anticipation . always checking online for the latest news . i was excited ! the odd thing is , after a year of hands on android and modding it , i am MORE excited about android now than ever before

we've got a lot of things done in 1 year to further our OS.

man...Android has def come a long way...I remember being frustrated at Android 1.0.

but now, it all seems proper...Android 2.0 looks VERY nice...and things can only go uphil from here.

I didnt officially get my G1 until Nobember...then Android and I decided to see other phones...now almost exactly 1 year later, I just picked up a mytouch...

...still needing someone to write a brewmaster app for Android...hint hint

Mine doesn't feel old . It just now feels more bad-@ss . Like its living life dangerously !

I loved 1.0, every phone was rooted, I might just use 1.0 all day tomorrow in remembrance of the beginning. lol

if you really want rememberance go back to jf30 or something like that. would it even work with the spl's and the radio's?

if so, and somebody has a copy i might go down that memory lane.
