haven't they do this 4 ever?
Ok, so just now on CBS news, they reported on a story that Google will be giving users 'search history' to, (they say), the CDC to find out anyone searching information on the 'Flu'. They say that no PERSONAL info will be disclosed, (really?).
Any comments?

Well, I wasn't on anything unappropriate.
Me and Android are officially connected.
I just assume that the gov does what they want when they want. So this never surprises me.
Yeah, you can go with Google who's fought government intrusion for a long time, or you could go with Verizon and AT&T, who bent over for "Homeland Security" before they were asked nicely. Take your pick.
Nothing surprising here, assume that the FED monitors/Log's traffic of all carriers. Remember the NSA's Carnivore program, and the whole Telecom immunity deal. also NYPD's ring of steel program went online couple of days ago "cams everywhere".
Yup 1984 is here, don't do or say anything of consequence online.
yep, doesn't surprise me either, but i have much faith in google, as well as a small stake
courts of law have started using myspace and facebook pages to judge ones' character... like default said, big brother is watching
for all you in your 20's like me, its advised to not post anything obscene that you wouldn't show your mother, and lots of drinking pictures apparently make you a bad person too in a court of law...

Buy the rumor, Sell the news.
OH NO! Now the goverment will know about my fascination with midget porn!!! DAMN YOU GOOGLE!!!
This doesn't surprise me, considering that each and every telephone call is monitored for certain keywords that can trigger a recording and subsequent analysis of the call.
