I know 2 people who left the pearl, 1 iPhone user (2g), and 1 SK3.

IMO thats one of the most amazing moves.

Mine on the other hand kinda suck FOR NOW, but im still amazingly happy, i went from an unlocked AT&T Tilt (HTC 8925) with full tomtom navigation w/ traffic, tons of games and apps (emulator and ported games)

I switched from a Pearl. I canceled my data plan about two weeks after getting it, seemed almost pointless. Money was better spent on unlimited texting.

No regrets. Was a little worried about the size difference, but the G1 doesn't really feel any bigger in my pocket.

I left my Pearl, and my pearl was a holdout from my Dash until an Android phone came out, so...yeah, i dont miss 1 feature about it. This is a superior phone in every catigory, except battery...but hell I have 10 outlets here at work, so what do I care?

I'm one who left the Perl for the G1 and the only thing I miss about the Perl is the Password Keeper app. I have over 40 different passwords (work and personal) that I have to remember so I have a cycle of 10 passwords that I use that way I'm bound to figure it out if I forgot my pw for a specific app. Would love for someone to develop one for the G1.

I left the pearl as well. That was a great phone, but I have no regrets.

I went from pearl<iphone<g1. Still a bit apprihensive about the g1. The pearl did have alot of good features and texting was really a dream on it. I had a lot of errors on that one too.. Id say g1 is def better than the pearl!! But google maps on pearl was way better. Ya, the passowrd keep was great, but they had one for iphone almost when it came out (the 1st gen via installer app) so we can def expect one on the g1.

I'm kind of in between my pearl and my g1. I can't always use my portable xm and since the g1 is lacking a way to listen to it, I'm using my Pearl still. That and tethering is still something the pearl has. Yes, the G1 has a full keyboard, but I can type far faster on a laptop than I can on any keyboard where I can only use 2 digits.
