    Default G1 in Men's Health's Tech Guide 2009

My new issue of Men’s Health arrived today and being the big geek that I am I went straight for the Tech Guide after I realized it was included in this month’s issue.
As I flipped through I was curious/hoping to see that the G1 might be mentioned. And I wasn’t disappointed…not entirely. In the cellphone section, (the first section) They begin the article by speaking about the future of mobile devices; an interesting read. I nearly missed the fact that the G1 was even included as I began to take a quick peak at the phones featured on the pages. Disappointed that it wasn’t I flipped back to the first page to begin reading the article and saw on the opposite page a picture depicting a woman laying back enjoying her white T-mobile G1. In fact the G1 is the only phone to technically have it’s own pictorial.

Here’s what they had to say.

    “T-mobile G-1”
Carrier :T-mobile Best For…Handheld-gaming junkies. When gadget lust fades. It’s the phone’s software that keeps the relationship alive. The G1 features the Google-powered Android operating system, an open-source OS that encourages amateur coders to develop innovative applications for it. Here are your first two downloads: BioWallet, which uses iris scans to protect your phone’s privacy; and ShopSavvy, a-price-comparison program that uses a picture of the UPC to find the best deal near you. $180, t-moble.com”

Not sure I label it as best for gaming junkies but they labeled all the phones in similar manners.

    Iphone- Best for Internet Addicts
Nokia 5800 Xpress Music – Best For…Music loving commitment phobes.
HTC Toucpad Pro – Best For Business travlers
Sony Ericsson Xpersia X1 – Best For Evolutionists

    just thought I'd share.
