anyone think the cover of the usb is annoying?

I think so..man sometimes after I cut my fingernails and I need to charge my phone or so, it takes longer than normal to take the cover off so I can charge my phone.

I'm about to just cut the tiny wire that is holding the cover on.
Think this is a bad decision if I go ahead and cut it? Leaving the usb port uncovered.

A lot of phones leave it uncovered. You should be fine. I always open mine with the flat side of the USB plug itself. (I'm a nail biter )

me no, I couldn't... thats why I will hold on to mine as long as possible.

i hate mine but I work construction and the dust would get in. i had a hard plastic case that made it difficult to plug in my phone and after a month of wrestling with it the little black cover never quite worked the same. it doesn't completely close now. let that be a lesson to anyone thinking about getting some cheap thick hard plastic case.

It does get annoying after a while. It's like it dances around with you whenever you try to put your plug in. But knowing me, I'd get a whole bunch of grime inside of it.

I have fake nails that are just a tiny bit too thick to open it...and have to carry a toothpick in my purse to pop it open, hahaa

... still not cutting it off though!

i work in a steel mill where even the air has a "certain sparkle"... i hate the cover but i put up with it...

Mine doesn't even fit in the spacing correctly now, on the right side, it's all crooked.
